Last night’s NXT Heatwave delivered major title changes as DarkState claimed the NXT Tag Team Titles in dominant fashion, and Ash by Elegance brought the TNA Knockouts Championship back to TNA after a wild Triple Threat victory over Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich.

In the main event, NXT Champion Oba Femi survived a hard-nosed effort from Je’Von Evans to retain his title. Evans nearly had the win after hitting a cutter and a frog splash, but a referee reversal and Femi’s raw power turned the tide. The champion closed the show standing tall after sending Evans through the announce table before planting him with a crushing Powerbomb.
