Will Omos Return to the WWE?
The WWE Universe might not have to wait much longer to see Omos back in action, and his return could come in an unexpected place. With WWE now officially owning AAA, crossover appearances are becoming normal. WrestleVotes reports that Omos’ name has been repeatedly discussed for a surprise appearance at TripleMania 2025, AAA’s biggest show of the year.
Omos hasn’t been featured on WWE programming for months, but his special attraction status has kept him relevant in fan discussions. A TripleMania appearance could serve as a perfect bridge back to WWE TV while allowing the 7’3” powerhouse to showcase himself to a different audience. With the event airing for free on WWE’s YouTube channel this weekend, fans won’t have to miss a second if the rumors turn out to be true.
What Happened to Omos?
Omos’ absence from WWE wasn’t due to injury, but rather an extended run overseas. Earlier this year, he wrapped up a stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, where he held the GHC Tag Team Championships alongside Jack Morris. Before leaving, Omos announced his return to WWE and handed his title to Daga to defend in his absence. Despite his return stateside, WWE has yet to slot him back into a major storyline, with his last televised singles match dating back to Backlash 2023 against Seth Rollins.
If Omos shows up at TripleMania 2025, it could signal a renewed push for one of WWE’s most unique stars.
