Last night’s WWE SmackDown closed with Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre’s Wrestlepalooza contract signing breaking into a brawl. The Scottish Psychopath floored the Undisputed WWE Champion with a Claymore before the two were pulled apart one night before their title clash.

Sami Zayn retained the United States Championship in an open challenge against Carmelo Hayes, while Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss kept hold of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with a win over Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre.

As well, The Vision’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker defeated Fraxiom after Paul Heyman’s promo was interrupted by Axiom and Nathan Frazer. Backstage, Bo Dallas and Erick Rowan blindsided The Street Profits after Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins tried to resolve their issues, while Damian Priest attacked Kit Wilson and demanded a match with Aleister Black.
