Last night’s WWE SmackDown saw Cody Rhodes make a surprise return, attacking Drew McIntyre after The Scottish Psychopath defeated Randy Orton. The Undisputed WWE Champion challenged McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza, setting the stage for a championship title match.

As well, Giulia’s match with B-Fab ended in a no-contest after Michin intervened, and Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship bout ended in a double count-out after a ringside barricade spot, only for Nia Jax to assault both competitors in a post-match attack.
