The Daughter of Rey Mysterio Steps Into The Ring
Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and sister of “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, has officially taken her first steps into the workings of professional wrestling. The 24-year-old was recently spotted training at The Dungeon 2.0 facility in Florida, run by Natalya and TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd), where she joined her father and several current WWE superstars in the ring.
This marks a new chapter for the Mysterio family inside the squared circle. Aalyah has previously appeared on WWE programming, notably during the heated rivalry between Rey and Dominik. But this is the first time she’s been seen actively training alongside top names, sparking speculation about whether she may eventually follow in her father and brother’s footsteps.
The Dungeon 2.0 has quickly become one of wrestling’s most respected training environments, carrying forward the legacy of Stu Hart’s original Dungeon in Calgary. For Aalyah, training at a facility rooted in discipline and tradition places her at the heart of where future WWE stars are being molded. She was pictured with Rey Mysterio, Apollo Crews, Angelo Dawkins, and B-Fab, a mix of veterans and current superstars in what Natalya described as an “insane night of training.”
While Dominik Mysterio’s WWE debut shocked fans years ago, Aalyah’s path is less certain. Rey has previously shared that his daughter is focused on academics and has ambitions in the medical field. Yet, her appearance at The Dungeon has fueled curiosity about whether wrestling could eventually become more than just a family tradition for her.
At just 24, Aalyah Mysterio’s age and timing give her the flexibility to explore both her academic and wrestling passions. Whether this training session was simply a one-off experience or the start of something bigger, her connection to one of WWE’s most iconic families ensures the wrestling world will be watching closely. The Mysterio legacy has already spanned generations, and now, the question is whether Aalyah will carry it forward in the ring.
