Paige WWE Return Possible As Saraya Opens Up On Busted Open Radio
Saraya is opening the door to a possible WWE return, revealing her desire to once again step into the ring as Paige. Speaking on Busted Open Radio alongside Natalya, the former WWE Divas Champion admitted she misses the locker room, her peers, and the energy of competing on wrestling’s biggest stage.
The interview also gave fans an emotional glimpse at Saraya’s mindset. Inspired by AJ Lee’s recent return at last week’s SmackDown and encouraged by overwhelming fan support online, Saraya explained that she feels healthier than ever and is ready to recommit herself to the ring.
“I’m so ready to come back. I want to get my cardio back. I want to get the ring rust off cuz I feel like the past couple of years I wasn’t fully invested in it as much, but I just found my love for it again. It’s such an exciting time for wrestling, and I miss it. I want to get back. I want to be Paige again.”
Paige’s WWE Debut Against AJ Lee
Saraya, then known as Paige, made history in her main roster debut against AJ Lee on WWE RAW in 2014. On her very first night, she captured the Divas Championship, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about stars in WWE.
The debut kicked off a memorable run that saw Paige become a cornerstone of WWE’s women’s division before injuries forced her early retirement in 2018. Since then, she has stayed connected to fans through her work in AEW, but with her now a free agent, the possibility of a WWE return feels more real than ever. AJ Lee’s return for Wrestlepalooza on September 20th has only fueled speculation, with fans imagining what a modern-day Paige vs. AJ Lee rematch could look like.
